As every year, the Coffee and Cocoa Council (CCC) in Côte d'Ivoire on Thursday published the list of commercial companies and cooperatives approved for the export of cocoa and coffee for the 2021/22 campaign which will start on October 1.

This brings to 506,000 t the volume of cocoa ground since the start of the campaign, on October 1, 2020, which represents a drop of 1.5% compared to the same period last campaign. These figures relate to the activity of the six largest units in the country out of a total of 12.

It should be remembered that the country's grinding capacity is 712,000 t, the Ivory Coast competing each year with the Netherlands for the place of the world's leading bean processor.
